


SOUTH BAJA CALIFORNIA:
10 nights / 8 days:

DAY 1. Arrival in Mexico City and transfer to the hotel for accommodations.

DAY 2. In the morning, we will visit the Museum of Anthropology and continue to the Historic Centre to admire its Cathedral, the zócalo (The main square), the facade of the National Palace, the models of the Major Temple, and we will make a walk through the Madero street, where we will find the temples of La Profesa, San Felipe, San Francisco, the Iturbide’s Palace, the Tails house (Casa de los Azulejos), the Palace of Fine Arts and the main Post-office Palace; later, we will continue through Tacuba avenue, where we can admire the architecture of the Munal (National Museum of Art) and the ancient Mining school. Later we will find the famous Café de Tacuba. Return to the hotel and overnight. (Breakfast and lunch).

DAY 3. In the morning, visit of the Shrien of Guadalupe and we will continue to Teotihuacán to visit the archaeological site. Return to Mexico City and overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast and lunch).

DAY 4. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to La Paz, Baja California South. Arrival in La Paz, transfer to the hotel and the rest of the day free. (Breakfast)

DAY 5. Departure to the pier and boat ride to Espíritu Santo and Partida Island, a great biological, social and economic value of ecosystems, that were declared "Protected Natural Zone" in 1978. The great oceanographer Jacques Cousteau called this region "The Aquarium of the World". Return to La Paz, and overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast).

DAY 6. Route to Loreto, a small paradise isolated from the world, protected by the Sierra Giganta. Here you can practice water sports and enjoy the many kilometres of beach and see the famous missions that the Jesuits had in charge. Cave paintings can also be seen in the caves of the mountains.
Optional: We can approach the Isla del Carmen where every winter grey whales arrive (from November to February). Overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast) -
DAY 7. Today we will go to Santa Rosalía, an explored place by the navigator Francisco de Ulloa in 1539. In 1701 the Santa Rosalía de Mulegé Mission was founded. Rich deposits of copper were found here, but when they were exhausted the population became fishing area. Walking tour and accommodations at the hotel. (Breakfast)

DAY 8. Departure to the San Javier Mission, founded by the Jesuits in 1699 and its current construction, dating from 1744, it is considered as "The jewel of the missions of Baja California", facade of modest baroque style, arched ogival door and inside a magnificent altarpiece styled, sculpted in wood and covered with gold leaves, dedicated to San Francisco Javier. We will continue to Todos Santos where we can also find a Jesuit mission and we are going to admire beautiful beaches such as "San Pedrito", "los Cerritos", "los Esteros", "Punta Lobos", "La Poza" and "Batequitos". Accommodation at the California Hotel, famous for the song of inspiration of the group "The Eagles" written in 1976. (Breakfast).

DAY 9. Departure to Cabo San Lucas. Accommodations at the hotel for 2 nights. Rest of the day free, to enjoy the beach and the facilities of the hotel.

DAY 11. Transfer to the airport.
